Attlee Centre Covid-19 Measures
What does ‘no mandatory’ restrictions mean for your Attlee Centre play time.
- We will continue with our bubble system – for kids coming on-site for the summer programme this means that they will have registered during the first week to join our daily play-sessions until 27 August.
-
We continue to ask parents to drop their kids for sessions at the door as we continue to only have staff on site.
-
Mask wearing policy: While we won’t make mask-wearing mandatory for staff, they will have the option to wear one, and should anyone visiting the Attlee Centre would feel more comfortable if they wore one, staff will have their mask ready.
-
When you arrive you will need to check-in using the QR code on the front of the building.
-
Children who come in on their own and do not have a phone or the app will be under close observation.
- Sports Spaces: When hiring our sports pitches this means using the 1-way system of entry and exit: entry from Thrawl Street next to the netball courts and exit through Lolesworth close next to the football pitch.
National Restrictions
The Government has decided to move to step 4 of the roadmap on 19 July, a new phase of continued caution whilst managing the risks of COVID-19. This follows a four week pause, announced on 14 June, which as of 10 July has allowed an additional 7 million (3.5 million first and almost 3.6 million second) vaccination doses to be given. Every adult is expected to be offered a first dose, and two-thirds of adults a second dose, by 19 July.
England is now moving through the Prime Ministers roadmap out of lockdown.
From 19 July , most legal restrictions have been lifted and updated advice is in place.
More details on the current restrictions can be found on the Government website.
