Bridge the Gap

The Council Delayed. We Can’t. Help Us Bridge the Gap.

Tower Hamlets Council has deferred our lease renewal decision until June. While our legal protections temporarily roll over, major grant funders refuse to release essential funds without long-term lease security. Our core operational revenue is frozen, and we are draining emergency reserves.

As a direct result, the Attlee Centre must temporarily suspend its face-to-face play services starting Monday, 25 May 2026 (including the May half-term). This is the first time in 46 years our gates will close for a school holiday.

We refuse to let this pause become permanent. We are launching our "Bridge the Gap" survival campaign to raise £30,000 to cover basic staff overheads, secure our facilities, and guarantee our full 2026 Summer Holiday Programme.

Campaign Progress Target: £30,000

Skeletal Survival Baseline: £10,000 | Summer Return Baseline: £30,000

1. Individual Giving

Every single pound directly funds a local worker's hours to keep this infrastructure secure. Setting up a monthly commitment gives us the predictable baseline cash we need to survive the June deadlock.

2. Wishlist & Local Action

Prefer to provide something tangible? Buy essential center and supply resources directly via our verified Amazon Wishlist, or visit our main gates this week to sign our hard-copy petition for the Mayor.

3. Corporate Partnerships

Are you a corporate business, local sports team, or creative event planner? Our sports pitches, multi-use halls, and rare green spaces are open for dry-hire during June down-hours. 100% of corporate fees go directly to our survival fund.
